Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Wandrealm is free to play. You only need your own copy of Hogwarts Legacy on Steam.
Is my solo save safe?
Yes. The launcher only reads your solo saves to bring a character across; it never changes or deletes them. The character you play in Wandrealm is a copy kept on our servers.
Which PC and game version do I need?
Hogwarts Legacy on Steam, on a Windows PC that runs the game. Wandrealm supports one game build at a time, and the launcher tells you if yours doesn't match.
How many friends can play together?
Up to 8 players at once in your own realm. Official realms, run by the Wandrealm team, hold more.
Is Wandrealm official?
No. Wandrealm is a fan-made mod. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Warner Bros. Games, Avalanche Software or Portkey Games.
How do I uninstall it?
From the launcher: choose Uninstall and it removes the mod from your game. Your solo saves are not touched.
Will I lose my achievements?
No. Your solo character keeps its achievements. The character you play in Wandrealm is a mod character, and the game gives mod characters no achievements.
Can I play on another PC?
Yes. Sign in to the launcher on any PC and your character comes with you: it is kept on our servers.
How do I play with my friends?
Make your realm and share its invite link or code; friends join in one click. You can also make your realm public, so anyone can find it in the launcher.
Why do I choose a username?
It is the name other players see above your head and in your realm. It is unique, you choose it once when you sign up, and your email is never shown to anyone.
When can I play?
Early access starts with invited players, a few at a time. Create your free account now and you can make your realm and gather your friends while you wait.
What do you keep about me?
Only what Wandrealm needs to work: your account, your character and your realms.
